No, an ISA can only be opened by an individual.
IF-ISA
Everything you need to know about the Kuflink IF-ISA.
Can I have an ISA on behalf of someone else?
Can I have more than one ISA?
As long as you do not exceed your ISA allowance per tax year, you can split your funds across a combination of ISA providers.
Can I transfer in from a building society ISA?
Yes, you can transfer in from a building society Cash ISA. When using the online transfer form, you’ll need to provide your building society roll number.
Can I withdraw funds from my ISA before the maturity date?
No, an IF-ISA runs for the fixed term. Your capital will be repaid at the end of your investment term, dependent on borrower’s repayment performance.
Can I withdraw my funds before the end of the term?
Funds that are invested cannot be withdrawn directly and are tied into the investment for the duration of the investment term. If an underlying borrower does not repay within their contractual loan term, your funds may remain invested beyond the expected investment end date while repayment or recovery activity continues.
The Secondary Market may provide an opportunity to exit an investment earlier, subject to eligibility and another investor purchasing the investment:
-
Select-Invest investments can be listed for sale on the Secondary Market, subject to the applicable selling criteria and a 1% seller’s fee.
-
Pool investments can be listed on the Pool Secondary Market. The full remaining balance must be listed and can be priced between 60% and 120% of its current value. There is currently no seller’s fee for the Pool Secondary Market.
A sale is not guaranteed and will depend on demand from other investors. Until a sale completes, the investment remains yours and any repayments will continue to be applied as normal.
Funds that are already available in your Kuflink wallet can be withdrawn and will usually be returned within 5 working days. Compliance checks may be carried out which can delay the timeframe of your withdrawal being completed, you will be contacted if your request requires further checking.

How can I fund my Kuflink IF-ISA?
You can add funds to your current Kuflink IF-ISA through the top up page via bank transfer, debit card or Payit. Any funds you add will initially be credited to your General Wallet.
When you make an IF-ISA investment, the amount invested will form part of your ISA subscription for the relevant tax year and your remaining ISA allowance will be updated accordingly. Any repayments will then be returned to the applicable IF-ISA wallet (Current, or Previous) dependent on the timing of the repayment.
You can also transfer an existing ISA held with another provider to Kuflink. Once logged in, visit the Transfer ISA In page and follow the instructions to submit your transfer request. Once complete, the funds will be allocated to your Current or Previous wallet dependent on which tax year the amount links to.
When making an investment, make sure you select the appropriate IF-ISA option if you want the investment to be held within your ISA. Investments made outside of your IF-ISA cannot subsequently be changed to an ISA investment.
How can I transfer my ISA at maturity to another provider?
Contact your chosen provider that you wish to transfer out to. Once you have done this, request an ISA Transfer form from your new provider which can be completed either online or by post. Please ensure that you input your Kuflink Unique Transaction Reference Number on your new provider’s form. When this has been filled out and returned to the new provider, they will then coordinate with Kuflink to facilitate the ISA Transfer.
It can take up to 30 calendar days (HMRC guidelines only) to transfer an ISA out. Please keep this in mind.
How do I activate my IF-ISA account?
You must be fully registered with Kuflink and have completed all required onboarding steps before you can activate your IF-ISA account.
If you are eligible, you will see the “Activate IF-ISA account” option on your dashboard.
Select this option, enter your National Insurance number, then read and confirm that you have read and accepted the IF-ISA Terms and Conditions and Statement of Declaration.
Once completed, your IF-ISA will be activated, and your ISA allowance will be set and displayed on your dashboard.

Transferring Funds Between Wallets
You can transfer available funds between your Kuflink wallets directly from the Your Wallet page, which is accessible in the top-right hand corner drop down menu.

Under ‘Transfer Amount’, select the wallet you would like to transfer funds from, followed by the wallet you would like to transfer them to. Enter the amount and select ‘Transfer’.
When transferring funds from your General Wallet into your IF-ISA (Current) Wallet, any amount transferred into your IF-ISA must be within your available allowance and is subject to ISA eligibility.
If you transfer funds from either of your IF-ISA wallets into your General Wallet, the funds will leave the ISA wrapper. You should consider this carefully before completing the transfer. Only the Current IF-ISA funds offer a flexible ISA meaning the funds can be replaced, any funds removed from the IF-ISA Previous wallet cannot be replenished.
If you intend to transfer your IF-ISA to another ISA provider, funds should remain within your IF-ISA wallet and be transferred using the formal ISA transfer process to retain their ISA status.
When an IF-ISA investment is repaid, the funds will automatically return to the relevant IF-ISA wallet based on the tax year they relate to.

What are the different Kuflink wallets?
Within your Kuflink account, your available funds may be displayed across different wallets depending on their ISA status.
General Wallet
This shows funds held outside of an ISA. Funds added to your Kuflink account will initially be credited to your General Wallet.
ISA Current
This shows available funds held within your IF-ISA that relate to the current tax year. Your Kuflink ISA allowance will reflect subscriptions made through Kuflink and will not include any ISA allowance used with other ISA providers.
ISA Previous
This shows available IF-ISA funds relating to previous tax years. These funds remain within the ISA wrapper and can be used to make eligible IF-ISA investments without affecting your current tax year allowance.
When investing, make sure you select the appropriate wallet and IF-ISA investment option. If an investment is made outside of your IF-ISA, it cannot subsequently be changed to an ISA investment.
ISA rules and allowances may change in line with HMRC requirements.
