Junior Tech Support
Are you a bit of a whizz with MS Office and other software applications and like helping people when they’re stuck? Are you confident when installing and configuring software for laptops, desktops and other devices?

You will be responsible for:
- Providing end user technical onsite IT support
- Providing help and guidance to staff with a range of technologies including Office 365, software applications, web-based solutions, hardware, etc. in order that they can make maximum use of IT
- Installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of end user devices including but not limited to laptops, mobile devices, telephony, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines
- Ensuring that end user devices are kept up to date with operating system updates, anti-virus definitions, software, and driver updates where applicable
- Collaborating with supplier support contacts to resolve technical problems for hardware and software systems and applications.
Junior Tech Support will need as a minimum
- IT qualification or completion of an information technology apprenticeship
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to perform information technology support in a business environment
- Knowledge of current IT technologies in a business environment, in particular Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office 365 apps and Microsoft Windows 10/11)
- Practical knowledge of the Windows desktop environment
- Good technical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to perform desktop support in Windows environment
